Carpenter tape. Nothing else works on vinyl. Simply why? Are we that cheap? Set of four floor mats is less than $20 Wallmart.

For a beater vehicle, instead of spending the money for new floor mats, this product is what the OP needs: Shoe GOO Agglutinative production 0710 While I originally bought a tube of this stuff many years ago in society to repair a pair of athletic shoes, I recall as well using it to patch a rubber floor mat, and it worked just fine.

Super gum eats rubber, then that won't piece of work. Depending on how large the tear is, melting it back together may be like shooting fish in a barrel to do. Either a soldering atomic number 26 or heat gun can do this. Personally, I don't think it'southward worth the time and effort considering how cheap a set of rubber replacement mats are.
